My Taite!

September 20, 2005
9 lbs. 2 oz. 20 inches long
What a great day!
Taite was a great delivery and just an angel from the get go!
I remember she came out and scared us with the cord wrapped tightly around her neck. Dr. Nance swooped her up, placing her face down on his forearm and began swinging her all around and she quickly began breathing. She was awesome!

I love this girl so much!
Happy Birthday Buggie

The Zoo with Oma!!

This pretty much sums up the zoo with Oma... HAPPY DANCE! Everything is better with Oma. The kids were beyond excited. We had a great day.

Apple Orchard

Ellery had a field trip and her teacher asked me if I could go. I thought it would be a great way to have a little time with Elle. My awesome Sister-in-law Becky came up for the day to watch the other kids so I could go with Ellery. We went to an apple orchard and had a blast!

Here we are on the hay ride!

She is such a cutie! I love her so much!

A little tall...or what!

She is the apple of my eye!

This is my group, they were hilarious. We came in first through the
corn maze, they were pretty excited about that!

Here they are, Ms. Slomski's 2nd Grade Class!
I LOVE Ellery's teacher, she is wonderful!

Personality

These pictures just capture the personality of my little Gus man Perfectly!
He is so hilarious and fun...and a little bit of a cheeseball!
He does headstands all the time, he will stay like this forever
just looking around, it makes me laugh so hard!
He love the piano and he loves Ellery, so he is a
happy camper here!

A Walk in the Park

One of our favorite family things is to simply go to the park together. We are there all the time!

This park near our house has an awesome trail through the woods, it doesn't compare to my beloved mountains...but I'll take the scenery

Even Gus loves our walks! I love my little Goose.

This park also has "The Hill"
They just see it and they are gone.
And they're off!
They could do this ALL DAY LONG!!!

Maybe this is just me, but I don't think I would enjoy heading down a hill with a lineman that weighs over 3 bills rolling over me again and again! But Cy can't get enough of it!

Some day our kids are going to HATE that Matt and I are such dorks...
but for now I think they love it and we sure have a good time!
This is my warm up!
And we're off, what a great Saturday afternoon.

A Tooth and Sprouts

Bailey finally lost her first tooth! That is how she felt at least...waiting waiting waiting for a baby tooth to decide it was time. It was strange, her permanent tooth came in completely behind her baby teeth without pushing the baby tooth out. The big tooth was almost all the way up before the little one even became loose, you can see it in these pictures. She pulled it out on the bus and was "way excited" that the nurse at school gave her a little treasure box to put it in!

The Tooth Fairy was surprised to find a note left with the tooth~~sorry it is a little mangled.

I hope you can read it, my favorite part is "I promise to keep it a secret!" And then it never hurts to suck up a little..."I love the Tooth Fairy!" The sucking up didn't help her..not monetarily at least. We have asked to Tooth Fairy to only bring a quarter for each lost tooth! She eagerly obliges! Bailey did get to keep her tooth and she received word of where the Tooth Fairy lives, but I have been sworn to secrecy!

Bailey has been having some aches and pains in her legs. I keep telling her that she is having growing pains because she is getting bigger. Matt keeps saying she is hitting a growth spurt!
Well the other day she came down for breakfast and announced...

"I am having terrible sprouts! I have sprouts growing all over my legs AND arms!"

So growth spurts and growing pains = growing sprouts in Bailey's world.

I LOVE Bailey!

GO COUGS!!!

Many things give me joy in life and BYU Football is definitely one of them! Was that an awesome game tonight or what? Okay, so a little heavy on the penalties, but still impressive! Way to finish the game Cougs! That last touchdown drive was awesome...what a great night!

All about Gus

We are always writing about the funny things the "big kids" do, so here are some fun Gus stories!
Fangs First!
Believe it or not, he is laughing hysterically as I am pushing his cheeks up!

This is a favorite past time around the house, they could do it for hours.

I just LoVe this boy!

Those big, brown eyes! I just fall in love!

He is obsessed with Zucchini Bread!

I just love this kid, words can't describe! He is a joy in the fam and no one can get enough of him!

This first video is one of our favorite things. When he was four months old he started shaking his head back and forth and cracking himself up. He does it all the time, when you are holding him, when he is playing, eating, crawling. Sometimes he does it hard enough or long enough that he falls over...but always he laughs!

Then there is the bear crawl. We thought he would switch over to crawling on his knees, but never happened. He is trying to walk now, so I wanted to get a clip of his bear crawl before it is gone for good.

Not much to say here.
The poor child got her Mama's massive & wild hair! Sorry Taite!

16 Again?

So the other night I went out with my Sisters-in-law and we had a BLAST! Maybe it was because I was so desperate for a night out, or maybe it was because they are so dang AWESOME! Probably both!

Beth, Becky, Merci and I went to dinner and had fun chatting it up! It was good food and a great time. Then Merci had to go home, but the rest of us weren't ready to head home to the kids. We went and loaded up on chocolate and hit a movie!

On our way home we were SO hyper, I'm not sure if it was the chocolate and sugar, the fact that it was way after my bedtime, or the refreshing feeling of a break from the kids...whatever it was, we were hilarious. I don't know that anyone but us thought so, but hey, we were completely entertained! It felt like I was a teenager again, those of you who knew me then know how spastic that can be!

I have no idea about this face Beth, but it makes me laugh!

Now these last pics, again those of you who know me.....I have a slight hearing problem, if any at all. People all my life have been exaggerating this minimal impairment, I doubt it even exhists and I am still not convinced! However, it does offer some pretty good jokes (at my expense...but whatever! I am not bitter.) They had to pull the car over to take a picture of an applicable billboard for a local Audiologist! Very funny! Its like I was hanging out with Max & Brian, they would have been proud. "Deafyn" still so rude.

Then here we are laughing hysterically as we peel out and ditch Beth on the side of the road! See, teenagers again.

I love my sisters-in-law!
