All in a Day's Work

Arguably Matt's favorite part of his job is harvest time. He is pretty hands on and gets out there with some of his farmers. The really cool part is that he takes the kids sometimes! He will take them one at a time and take them out of school for the day to go ride in the big combines and spend some time with Dad :)

Bailey is going to be a farmer I just know it because she LOVES gardening and all things tractor and farm. It is hilarious to see her and Matt together, two peas in a pod. These pictures are all from her day with Hoss and that is the combine she got to ride in.

Here she is riding in the side seat cruising along with Farmer Siela. She was having a blast.

True to Bailey's personality, riding along just didn't cut it (pun intended :) She didn't ask out right but just said, "You know, I know I would be a really good driver." He looked at her and asked her if she wanted to take the wheel! She climbed on over and this is her driving all by herself, she is really harvesting people, not just driving around...12 rows she reminds us all the time!

This is what Matt does all the time, driving the smaller tractor to catch the grain.

The kids never get tired of watching and riding along.

And finally, this long day of work ends with the long drive home and Bailey entertaining herself with the camera. What a funny girl with her big beautiful brown eyes...melt my heart!
